MT. VERNON TRIO

The Mt. Vernon Trio is three women who play the violin, cello, and piano with elegance and flair. Their specialties encompass not only baroque, classical, and romantic styles, but also fresh arrangements of ragtime, Broadway showtunes, movie themes, and popular love songs.

The Mt. Vernon Trio first performed together in 1986, and has been featured at gala events in the Atlanta area ever since. Brides and grooms have chosen them for their weddings and receptions. They have serenaded corporate executives and clients in convention and banquet halls. They have even entertained conventioneers on the New Georgia Railroad--rising to the challenge of reading multitudes of Mozart's 16th notes while on a moving train!

Whatever the genre, the ensemble's artistry and delight in the music create pleasure for the listeners. Here is a truly versatile alternative to the traditional string quartet!
